Exceptional Nordic skiing can be found at Frost Centre, a natural playground 12 kms from Dorset in the Haliburton Highlands. The 22kms of groomed trails have loops, rugged terrain and lovely view points. Two shelters with woodstoves exist on the site and trail maps are available.

Gravenhurst KOA Nordic Ski area features 17 km of groomed trails. Several events happen throughout the season, including moonlight ski runs. Fees apply.
