Annual Minden Kin Club Truck Pull, Show & Shine

Held on the third Saturday in June, Minden Kin Club's annual Truck Pull, Show & Shine brings excitement to the Minden Fairgrounds as dirt flies from under the tires of pickups to log trucks. The day comes to a close with an evening concert held at the Community Centre. Food, refreshments, a Beer Tent and camping are available on-site.

This annual flower show demonstrates the Minden & District Horticultural Society members' gardening and flower arranging skills. The stunning blooms will appeal to anyone who loves gardening and the beauty of nature. A small admission fee includes light refreshment and the chance to win door prizes.

Each year, the Minden Agricultural Society puts on the Haliburton County Fair in mid-August. The fair, which dates back as far as 1864, features a variety of agricultural exhibits, as well as horse pulls, a demo derby, live entertainment, a dance, a beer tent and a quilt show. Don't leave without trying the beef on a bun - it's legendary around these parts.
